Cause and effects - Plain water

Scientifically, our body contains 90% of water and we cannot even deny it. It is really truth that we need water to survive. Not only human need water, others living thing also need it such as animals and plant. Basically, human will find water when they feel thirsty and dehydrated. As we know and it has been on the doctors and scientist research. We can identified by just our own eyes to differentiate people who do not love to drink plain water and vice versa. There are so many effects if we managed to make drinking plain water as a habits.

The most common thing that we know if we love to drink plain water, it will absolutely help us to increase our metabolism rate. To those who are have a low metabolism rate, they should practice to drink more plain water starting from this moments. It may not be tasty like Pepsi or something other else. It also facilitates the transport of waste out the cells. Besides, plain water also will help our cells hydrated properly. Apart from it, our metabolisms will be optimal. The more water we consume, the more efficient our cells can work.

Benefits of white water not only to cleanse the body, but also as the very substance the body needs. We may be able to survive when not eating a few days but could not survive if it is not drinking water. This is because water is the largest part of the composition of the human body. For women, absolutely they want to look flawless and have a healthy skin. Along our live, there are many toxin that had been trapped under our skin. Without realizing it, plain water will makes our skin looks radiant and beautiful. From wasting our money to buy lots of skins products, we can get another natural one and it is free !

Finally, another effects if we drink lots of water, it will help our inner health. The most important thing, it can help us to reduce our weight as plain water contains no calories at all. Another thing is , plain water can produce the male hormone testosterone and estrogen in women which is good. Drinking eight glasses of white in the quantity of each day will increased the digestive system. It can get avoid of constipation and even calories burned will run efficiently.

In the nutshell, there are many effects if we keep drinks lots of plain water. It may help us to have healthy life. We need water to survive and we cannot deny it.

Descriptive - Mama

Everyone in this world has their own role model. Life is simple but we insist on making it complicated. In part of that, we need role model to guide us. Make their life as our inspiration. It may sound a bit cliche but with them, our life will be more discipline and flow fluently. Some of them make the greatest people such as super hero, sports star or just someone they admired and inspired them so much. I do not take someone who is far apart or have no relation with me. Instead of choosing some other people, I rather choosing my mother to become my role model.

Readers may questioning me why I choose my mother to become my inspiration? The only word that can describe my mother is ‘Bombastic!’ . She is the one who can give me comfortable. I put her as a queen in my life. No one can take her place in my heart. Not even one. When I need her, she always be beside me and keep supporting me on everything that I wanted to do even though it may sounds like crazy thing. She same goes with me. Our thinking will be always the same. When we started to have a talk, everything will going to be the same. We will laughing at the same point and we crying also at the same time.

There are so many of her characteristic that I adore. My mother such a loving person I ever seen before. She can keep smile even though she face lots of obstacles in her life. For me, she had gone through so many hard life. She love her husband which means my father , so much. Mama take care of all my father’s need so do our needs. She started her duty as a mother since he wake up early at 5 o’clock until 11 at night.
Readers might questioning what will my mother do along her day. Started on 5’o’clock in the morning she will wake up and get everything ready. For example, she cooked for us and prepare for our breakfast. The most current she will cook for us is fried rice. When she cook it, I feel like I am eating the food that comes from heaven. All her cook are really scrumptious. When my friends come to my house to make any revision, they will also be served the ‘heaven’ food. Back to the routine of Mama, she is different from other mother. She is a work woman. Sometime I wondering, how Mama can divide her time on everything in her life. Beside become a English teacher at secondary school, she also need to give her responsibilities towards her family.

After she done with her duty as a teacher, they will come home but before that, she will pick up all my brothers from their schools. Her job has been changed from teacher to a mother now. She need to prepare for our lunch and tea. She will do the housework such as cleaning house, sweeping floor and done all the launders. After she had done all over it, she will having her rest by sitting in front of the television and watch her favourite drama which is Vietnamese dramas.

At night, as usual she will cook dinner for us. In my family, it has become a tradition to having meals together on one tables. Mama always say that from this simple tradition, we can strengthen our family relationship without realizing it. Not forgotten, she is so called one of students at Open University Malaysia. Her duty now changed become a students. She also has further her study on early childhood education. She will do her revision on her study just like us. My siblings will be sitting around her and study together. And finally, at 11 o’clock, all of us will entered our room and have our bed just like Mama.

At last, I still wondering on how my mother still can stand to do all those things everyday without complaining anything about it. She is the perfect mother for me in the world. There is no one can do and be like her. She is the most perfect queen in my life. If she is here in front of me, I will say that ‘I love you Mama’.

Persuasive - Save our nature !

Nowadays, people around us keep saying ‘Save our nature !’ but the most big question mark here is do they really do something to save it? Do they really care about the nature or they just used to be only the ‘supporter’ ? We supposedly realize that our nature is depending on our behavior. If we could not sacrifice our pleasure for nature own sake, we cannot categories ourselves as human that really love The Almighty’s creation. In part of that, there are so much things that we could do to save our nature and let the nature keep breathing until the end.

First thing first that we can do is avoid make smokes in our daily activities. For example, we can reduce the amount of car using on the road and use a car pool strategies in order to make our air keep fresh and clean. A clean air could bring a freshness in our breathing process. As we know, the oxygen comes from plant. The clean air that be the most important thing in our life could be polluted with all the smokes because there are lots of chemical product that can harm our lungs and respiratory system.

Apart from that statement where we know plants produce oxygen for us, there is one thing can be so crucial for us to know. We need to avoid illegal logging that may lead to the leakiness of plant. The amount of oxygen produced might be bit smaller than daily it produced. Hot and dry weather caused by the temperature rise definitely will cause global warming . This condition and situation can be a big distraction for people to have their fun day with family or friends. The activity of leisure conducted in a clean condition will improve our health as we can breathe with fresh and clean air.

Somehow, if we manage to take care of our nature, it can also prevent the breeding of insects that can carry disease . As all readers know, dengue is the one disease that come from the insect which is mosquito. Even though it look like light thing, we must bear in mind that dengue can cause to death ! Do we want to see our child suffer from this disease that come from our mistakes? Part from this disease, we also know that let the dirty condition may bring to food poisoning. When food are opposed to the surrounding, it may invite dirty insects such as fly. Fly can be the agent of spreading the dirtiness from the dirty places.

In addition, by making sure our environment clean and neat, we can attract attention from the outsiders and foreigner tourists to come and visits our country. Malaysia do have lot of special places that really unique for them to visit. If we keep give our consensus to our nature, we can incidentally improve our country’s economy. Foreign investors can make their investment without worrying about the quality of our country.

In a nutshell, we do need to save our nature from destroyed. There are so much good if we manage to save The Almighty’s creation. We can just do a simple thing to show our consensus to our nature. It can also make you such a responsible creation ever if you manage to save the nature.

Argumentative - School Based Assesement

As we know , knowledge are very important to all human beings. Without knowledge, humans are nothing. There are many ways that we can gain knowledge such as in school. For now , we know that school system in learning had been changed from KBSR into School-Based Assessment . Many people might think that by applying this new system in learning , it will give much more improvement in pupils. In fact, for me I strongly believe that this changes could make pupils become more miserable also it can bring a ‘chaotic’ in learning. There are many aspect that we could see if this system being implemented.

In student life , basically student had seen their elder sister or elder brother study in that particular system which is KBSR or KBSM . So , they had set their mind to study in that way which also have a test and exam. It is hard for them to make changes in sudden because they still a child . This system are making pupils become more tension and stress because based on the observation in few schools, they said that the work which is School-Based Assessment (SBA) are becoming a burden to student because this task seem to look more difficult for their age. Moreover, this system for pupils also does not work very smooth because in order for them to finish their work, they can simply ask other people such as family or friends opinions. Their idea on their own work sometimes are not really comes from their own idea and intelligent . This can make pupils become more lazy in order to find information for their task.

This system also bring a difficulties for some teachers. Mostly, teacher either secondary or primary school that have lot of experiences, will say no to this system . For them, this system can make their teaching skills become unsuccessful and become more chaotic. Each of teacher might have their own strategies to make sure that their student not only understand about the knowledge but also can make an application through the knowledge. But, by realizing using this system, it might have many online system that make teachers have many things to do . Their job are become much more. Back to SBA work , teachers will wasting their time in explaining how to complete the task and also they must always checking their students work . Sometimes, they also must have more spending time with their student to make it done in a particular time.

In addition, this system indirectly can make ruin to the all environment of studies condition. No one will know their student abilities on doing something. Moreover, the system is not emphasize too much on the test or exam. So, it’s quite questioning other people how will pupils being evaluate without test and exam ? If they just said that pupils can be evaluate through the SBA , they are making a big mistakes because only test and exam can determine how far pupils understand the knowledge that they had learn . This will make the school and studies environment become more awkward and strange.

In conclusion, we must support the older system in learning because the system are more accurate and reliable. It also easier to all people to handle and cope with this. No one will get stress in teaching or learning . Pupils can learn with a very good situation and it will not burden the student anymore. The older system are actually making people think that knowledge is not only about knowledge but it is also about our surrounding and with that I strongly believe that older system in learning is more better that new system .

Narrative - My Holiday

‘Kringgg.. kringgg’ . The bell rang loudly. The sign of happiness of student had been announced by the bell. All of student quickly packed their books and stationery into their bag. Once the gate was opened all the hostellers run to got their family. As I remembered , it kind of best feeling ever that you can meet your family after almost 6 weeks you had not seen them. People might said that these kind of student such a pampered child but they did not knew the feeling when a child longing for his or her mother and father. As for me, this is the quite long time to be with my family and had some joy and create some memories.

When the time I arrived at my house , quickly I ran to upstairs and search for my ‘Alvin’ . It is quite interesting name I gave to my little cute kitten. I just miss my kitten so much. I would bring him to garden every evening to meet it partner that belongs to my neighbor. Now was the time I spend time with my whole family. During the night after had our dinner, we watched movie together and suddenly my father told us that he wanted to had a vacation for a week . What a surprise things that he had said? As we knew, he was not typical of person that loved to have a vacation because he had very hectic schedule of work. Quickly, my mother said that she wanted to have a vacation in Johor Bahru which was my grandparent’s home. We felt very happy because it seems we had not meet them since last two month.

We had started our journey on the next day in the morning. Even though it just my grandparent’s house but I felt very happy because I do miss them as well. The first thing I done when arrived at their house, I hug them so tight. The most favourite thing that I do was swimming in the lake behind the house . The lake was so cold and calm . I used to be there because it was my place since my childhood. I brought my siblings and had fun with them there. As I remembered, I almost drown when I was five years old. My brother chasing me while running on the rock along the lake and finally I slip down the lake as the rocks were slippery.

As a only ladies in that house, my grandmother forced me to learn cook some of traditional food. I am not typical of person who likes to eat traditional food so much and it become the only reason I felt lazy to learn all those thing. On previous day, she had forced me to cook ‘Asam Pedas’ but I managed to escape from her task as I gone for shopping but on this time, I cannot escaped anymore. I had learn to cook so many dishes on that day. I think that it is not a hard things that I must escaped for doing it because it seems easy to cook when my grandmother be besides me. During that night, we had about a simple feast only to celebrate my ability to cook traditional food within only one whole day. We ate all the food together.

After spending our precious time with them, it was time to leave and come back to our hectic day. Being there with them such a gift from The Almighty. I managed to learn so many things and prove myself that I can be a good cook ! Now, I could tell my friends that I can be a new chef at the school as I took and learn Culinary course. As the saying say, there is no place like home. Be with family can give me calmness and joy.

Comparison Contrast - Place you have visited

Holiday is the most precious time have been waiting for all family . Each of everyone have their place that they wanted to go . Basically, place for having their vacation is divided into two which are in exclusive vacation such as Suria KLCC or vacation in their own village that . Based on the experience I have before, I could see few differences between these places.

First thing first, I could see at the scenery aspect. As I knew, the scenery at the village is more beautiful and calm. We could feel the fresh air in the morning and all day long. Besides, we will feel close to nature. We can go out and having a walk without worried about the pollution because in our own village, normally it was free-pollution. In other part, the places like Suria KLCC it might be too pack of people. They will also having lots of problem in order to walk. We could only see the buildings, the vehicles and also feel hot. It was the place that grab attention from the foreigner. We will feel like that we are not in our own country. The vacation will not going smoothly. As the aim of having vacation to gain calmness will not achieved.

Secondly is about the food aspect. Who does not love the tastes of village food ? Most people will have their own appetite towards foods. Even though we can find village food in food court at Suria KLCC, but it is entirely different with the originally village food. At village, together with the scenery and environment of its own character, it may made the food become more tastier than in Suria KLCC. Besides, the price also is different. It might be the same type of food but believe it or not, the price at village is more cheaper than Suria KLCC as there is no tax that imposed on them.

Thirdly is about the culture. Village is full of tradition. As we know, villagers is labeled with nature of politeness. We could learn and see their life and make it as our guidance. They always sharing their food or having a talk without need to making an appointment. Their life is full of happiness. This happiness will make outsider feel very calm. Besides, currently in places such as town , we could see all the foreigner being everywhere. So, the tradition of particular culture cannot be seen roughly.

In a nutshell, having a vacation in our own village is more better than going to places like Suria KLCC that consist of full of madness. Life is simple and the pleasure is also simple and we does not have to make our life become miserable.

My Friend

What does ‘friend’ really mean ? Basically, based on Oxford Dictionary verse 5 , it say that ‘friend’ brings to someone that is not comes from your family or flesh blood but you are being so intimate with her or him. Life saying said that a friend in need is a friend indeed as my life also support this saying. People may said it looks a bit cliché but believe me, this will bring a huge impact in your life. The reason why people need friend in their life is because friend who is the person that can help and upport us besides our family . Friends may come in any situation whether we realize about them or not .

It is not fair when only people surround me have their own best friend. Me myself do have my best friend or should I call her as my ‘twin’. First thing first, I want all of you to know about her background and life stories. Her name is Nur Izzati Binti Mohd Jalal and I used to call her as Zati. The first time I met her was in our hostel registration. We were meant to be in the same dorm almost 4 years. This w ould bring meaning that we had been called as ‘twin’ since form 1. The most surprising things was the time I knew that she was also my classmate. We had been through so many things during the past 5 years. People keep miss call our name. Sometime they will call me Zati and call her as Yana . Please believe me than we do look alike !

Why she can be my friend? There are so many things that I can be shared to all readers about her . I admit that she is kind-hearted friend. Even though she had so many problem that have not solve yet , she manage to help others to solve their problems as well. I am quite surprising with her because she also become one of the top student at the class. She is the second teacher in our class on that time . I am so proud with her . She also have one attitude that is not everyone able to do which is so proud herself. It is quite something when people notice it but for me , it is good for herself because she believe that she can do a particular things without think about what will others say badly about her. She can neutralize all the negative perception to make herself better.

Every creation definitely have their own ability and weakness. When it comes to her weakness , I will said that she has no weakness. People may see it is one of her weird attitude but fortunately I have changed all the weakness into her uniqueness. She love to scream loudly when she felt stressed on certain particular practice. I manage to control her and reduce her ‘volume’ when she was screaming. She told me that screaming can help her to overcome all the problem and she believe the problems will vanished away.

‘No man is an island’. We all need friends. Human without friends is a lonely person ever. We need friends whom we can confide in and share our problems with. So, we should never ever take our friends for granted. Without friends, our lives would be boring. As for my advice, do love your friend like you love your fsamily because they are your ‘family’.

My Family

Family is one of important unit in every human life . Without family we cannot live in this world . There are no one could be in this precious world without their family . As everyone know, family is consisted of our parents and also siblings. It just like gift from God. Living in family could bring lot of happiness and joyful. So do I, I am also have my family and only a word can describe about my family which is ‘DIFFERENT’ . I do believe that my family different from others because we have lot of stories and secret . Most of my friends always questioning about my life but as for me, I do happy living in this such of family .

Man who named Mohd Adib bin Mohd Yusoff is the most perfect man I ever have in this world . He struggling hard in every work he done for just only to raise us. Without him , we are nothing . He had too much characters but only a word can describe my father which is ‘SUPERB’ . He loves to make jokes and make my days. Sometimes I felt like I will never cry and sad . He never forget to complete all his responsibility towards us especially in my life, my basic needs like food, clothes, medicine, a place to live, and the most important thing, the love. He never give up on every certain things his done. I do love him more than everything because I know , there will never have someone could be like him.

Every king need his queen to complete his life . So do my father . He has a very beautiful queen in this world and her name is Rosazian Binti Bassar. She is the most perfect and fabulous woman I ever have . She completely be the best mother for us because of her ability on handling all her responsibility as a woman called mother. Maybe she is not like others because she is a teacher and have a very hectic schedule. I am so proud of her and she also will be my queen forever and ever. Thanked to Almighty for let her to be my mother. There are no amount of golden that could replace her in my life. I do love her more than myself.

Family is not completed without siblings. Like other say, children will bring luck and also they are precious gift from Almighty. In my family , we have five siblings and I am the only daughter and princess. Each of them have a very different characters and sometimes it makes me become a ‘HULK’ ! It so hard to control them as my elder brother also cannot handling three of them as well. They are so called ‘ultramen’ by us. One of their unique attitude is they like to work together on every certain things especially in teasing us. They will arrange all the ‘strategies’ properly before the they started to ‘launch’ it. All of their naughtiness is not a burden for us but is a joyful .

As a conclusion, there is no place like home. We should be thankful because we still have a family that always make us smile and shared lot of stories together. We may not have the same stories in our family but do believe that every differences may bring the happiness. When people ask me whether I love my family or not ? My answer will always be the same which is ‘ I do love my family more than myself’.

Myself

Name given from my parents is Puteri Liyana Syahira Binti Mohd Adib . When the time I asked them what is the real meaning of my name , they will answer that ‘Puteri’ comes from their belief that I will be their princess of life forever. ‘Liyana’ took from the combination of their name that brings meaning as ‘soft’ person and ‘Syahira’ is the name that is related to my elder brother which is ‘Syah’ and bring meaning to ‘the main' . I born on 16th November 1995. Like people said , there is no place like home . Home for me means like a heaven and my ‘heaven’ is located at Pontian, Johor. There are so many things that people might not know about me. They can just simply judge me because they do not know even one single thing about me. Only myself can describe who am I. What is so interesting about me ? My answer is simple. ‘Extraordinary’ . I believe that every creation have their own weakness and ability.

Currently, I study at Sultan Idris University of Education (UPSI) and hold a titled as Semester 4 student in Diploma in English . I had been through so many things before I put my step into this platform. I do love English so much but I am afraid to go through this English student life because I heard so many rumors that said this course will kill me slowly. I do not take that rumors to discouraged me but I will take it as my challenges. My first expectation on UPSI is this will be the best university ever and I will make my ambition comes true. I eager to be a teacher like my mother and my father. They said that being an educator will brings me lot of happiness because we will also learn something from our students. I do believe myself that I can get along with this course until the graduation day.

Each of everyone has their own hobbies. Basically, we know that hobbies is something that we love to do and mostly we will do it every day. Many people fell weird with me because I told them I do not have a hobby. The reason I say like that is because I love to do everything in my life. I will do whatever things that make me happy. I have tried to stick on one hobby unfortunately I cannot make it happen because I do admit myself that I will easily get boring when doing the same thing. People may say that I am not the normal person like other but that is myself cause I do love many things in my life.

When it come to my motto life, I just belief in one statement. Other’s happiness is my happiness . In order to achieve happiness in my life I need to make other people happy with me. I do believe that it will mean nothing in my life if I cannot see others smile. Make them smiles is not a simple thing like breathing but I know that I can do it . Currently , this statement still remain in my mind because it is given from my mother. She is my aspiration of my everything. When I was small , she kept remind me on this thing because once I miss to make them happy, I will never feel calm until I can see their teeth again.

As a conclusion, I can just say that I am different from normal people because I do hold on one principle which is I just be myself without think about others expectation. The reason I strongly believe in this because people are no nothing about me. They can create any expectation on me but they cannot control myself because I am ‘Extraordinary’ person.
